At this time, the Wise Birds Workshop is currently only available in the state of Colorado, for Colorado residents.

Yes and No. We want it to be as easy as possible for you to become a Wise Bird. As much as we'd love for you to share our Workshop with your friends, we hope that you do so with some integrity. In other words, you could pass this off to a friend and it might get past our team. But then, we're in the business of helping young adults start out on the right foot and we expect that most folks will live up to a certain standard as new adult in the community and as a Wise Bird. However, we do offer some referral discounts, so if you have a friend that you know would benefit from our program, please reach out to us at [email protected] and we'd be more than happy to provide him or her with an exclusive discount code.

Yes, there are cheaper options out there, but the Wise Birds Workshop isn't trying to be the cheapest option. Wise Birds LLC also isn't a template download company. We are here for Colorado families to provide a valuable workshop to young adults, help them think through their choices, sign the documents properly and upload them where they can be accessed in an emergency. We're also here to help quell parents' nerves. From the perspective of a 10+ year attorney, if you want to worry about proper legal documents, then downloading free versions from the internet is a good place to start.

The Wise Birds Workshop is here for each of your children — you only need to invest one time in the program for your kids. All we ask is that you cover the additional cost for DocuBank enrollment. Depending on the length of time between purchases, we may make changes to the format of the Workshop and the documents themselves, so it's best to enroll your other children separately. These documents state that they are to be honored in all jurisdictions. By signing them in front of two witnesses and a notary, the signing requirements for Colorado are surpassed and will meet other states’ signing requirements, if any. In general, most medical and financial facilities are just happy that their patients and customers have these at all.

Once we receive your legal documents and the DocuBank enrollment form, we will securely forward them to DocuBank, to ensure proper receipt and processing. Once DocuBank receives and processes your documents, they will contact you directly to set up your access to the DocuBank portal. Your Emergency Wallet card can take up to six (6) weeks to arrive in the mail.

Temporarily being without a physical address can be quite confusing. The rule of thumb is to provide the address where you currently get your mail. Even if you pay all your bills online and receive majority of your billing statements electronically, it's always best to have a physical address, so that you don't miss anything potentially important. If you're currently "between" addresses, another alternative would be to temporarily obtain a PO Box at a local post office. Important - be sure to update your DocuBank account with your new address, once it's available.

As you're aware, your investment includes one complimentary year of DocuBank membership. When nearing the expiration of the complimentary year, you will receive direct communication from DocuBank, providing you with instructions on how to continue your paid membership.

Once the Wise Birds team receives your legal documents and the DocuBank enrollment form, we will securely forward them to DocuBank, to ensure proper receipt and processing. A portion of every sale goes to The Tennyson Center for Children which supports and cares for Colorado's abused and neglected children.
